Orous Capital was a panellist during the 9th Conference of African Ambassadors, held on 4 July in Paris at the Académie des Sciences d’Outre-mer, on cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Africa

The Conference brought together over 100 prominent diplomatic and business decision makers from France, Africa, and the Gulf countries to discuss the theme of Economic cooperation between Saudi Arabia and African countries.

Attended by a prestigious audience of African Ambassadors, His Excellency Fahad M. Al Ruwaily, Saudi Arabia's Ambassador to France, presented an overview of the Kingdom's flourishing relations with African countries. With a wide-ranging presentation on Saudi Vision 2030, under the leadership of His Majesty King Salman and His Highness Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, His Excellency Ambassador Al Ruwaily stressed Saudi Arabia's desire for diversification, higher returns on investment, and the establishment of new strategic alliances with African partners.

Further to His Excellency Fahad M. Al Ruwaily’s intervention, Houssam Nasrawin – Orous Capital Managing Partner, Middle East – offered insight into the strategy of Saudi and GCC institutional investors, mainly Sovereign Wealth Funds, Pension Funds and Development Funds. He emphasised the new investment approach of the kingdom through the Vision 2030: more diversification, higher returns on investment and new strategic alliances.

'New Saudi Arabia’ will emerge as a major and unavoidable player on the international investment stage Nasrawin said, noting Orous Capital's expertise in terms of institutional investors in the GCC region.
